obviously people in the past did not think of the consequences of their actions before they acted.
1. when poor maria was sent to the convent, photographers were allowed inside. and they took pictures of maria:
- sitting beside a nun weeping
- worshipping in front of a statue of virgin mary
- with her biological mother, 'all smiles'
apparently these made the muslims very angry.
if you don't know why, it's okay
2. british's intelligence in jap were kinda lousy. they should have picked someone like james bond or something. and therefore, they did not know that they greatly outnumbered the japs and could have kicked their butts. so this is a mistake of not getting info right before making a decision.
3. if the people in the past did not do so many significant stuff, we wouldn't have to learn so many stuff either.
and therefore, our generation must work harder and do some more significant stuff for hte next generation to learn :D
not that we the generation before mine haven't done enough significant stuff. (like this whole myanmar thing, and 911, and that whole america-iraq thing too)
geog exam is on tuesday and i have only learnt half the textbook.
there's still weekends (:
GO! GO! GO! (:
that day, charlotte told me one of the shallow humour jokes again (which are quite funny when you put her expression and the joke together):
why is there breadtalk, and sweet talk (some bubble tea thing) but no coffee talk?
because there's kopitiam (diam) -.-
don't come home for Christmas
you're the last thing i wanna see
underneath the tree
merry christmas
i could care less
a nice song with a nice ending (:
TWO MORE WEEKS TILL IT'S OVER
and then there's that one week after that when i'll get my results which hopefully won't be that bad (:
xiang: sticks and stones may break my bones but virtual bites will never hurt me (:
chui: yes yes. 10 october (: are we going to spaggedies too? i heard you say something like that today
JCP: haha. that was my nickname in pri school. apparently, no one calls me that anymore now.
cause they've thought up of even weirder nicknames.
R: haha. replied you today already! and when you think of another grandmother story to inspire me for my compo, you can send it to me (:
sam: uhh...bunny! :D
derrick: haha. that reminded me of jolyn. when during some camp which i forgot, i was playing with her some hamburger game and she started messing my hair (:
