Lit was hilarious today.
We spent 20min talking about ah bengs and ah lians who love making out on mrts and another 20min about ms tan's dream trip to the sperm bank :D
We (the whole class) all shared the same sentiments that ah bengs and lians who make out on mrts are utterly disgusting and sick. Then we hatched this plan...
We all get onto the mrt together, but through different doors, then we hunt for ah bengs and lians making out and groping each other's butt. Once we find one, then we walkie talkie each other, and everyone's to gather in the cabin with the making out ah beng and lian, but pretend we don't know each other. Then, ms tan's gonna go up to them and go:
"Did you know that your blatant public display of intimacy is unnecessary and that ..., and there's no need for you to flaunt your....in public"
Yeah, something along those lines, just with many more cheem, big words :D
Then if the beng/lian shows some sort of aggressiveness towards ms tan (eg. slap, push, etc.), we all suddenly crowd the pair and make them like the little dalmations in the clutches of Cruella (in 101 dalmations) :D
Haha. That's so cool :D
And going to the sperm bank is quite cool. They don't show you the donor's face, but you get to know what their job is, their personality, and all that genetic stuff.
ms tan wants one from a chef, cause she thinks guy chefs are cool (eg. jamie oliver, who i must agree, is quite cool). We suggested model, but she doesn't want it, cause according to her, guy models are 'dumb hunks' :D
Then, when she goes to the sperm bank, she's gonna bring M.O.E along to help her choose. Imagine the reaction of the guy at the sperm bank.
"You still want more...?"
Haha.
-----------
That day for SS, we watched
Hotel Rwanda.
Which is a movie about racism (But it's like a certain type of blacks against another type of blacks), and there's all the scary heartless mass killings.
We watched it halfway.
It's freaky, but i wanna know the ending >.<
I think I'll cry if I watched The Holocaust.
That reminds me. Today, I borrowed 3 books from the library (well, technically 2, since YY borrowed the other one for me):
1.
Out of Hitler's TimeIt's the Judith Kerr trilogy (When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, something, and something).
2.
Animal RecordsAs you can tell from the name, it's a book of animal records, with loads of amazing pictures and facts inside. It's a new addition to the library, and I'm the first one to borrow it :D
3.
Wake Up CallThe testimony of Glenn Lim (:
Oh, and I borrowed one from Klarissa, who borrowed it from the school library.
The World's Greatest MysteriesIt's about people who go missing mysteriously, and about, yeah, mysteries. Haha.
My sister thinks it's morbid I'm interested in such stuff, but well, it's interesting (:
Oh, and a reply to one of my sister's march post (I just read it, and I too, just realised her tagboard's gone. Haha). Jie, if you ever see this:
Mummy likes Air Supply more than Papa does. Papa's a more Bread and Eagles and Beatles (I think) fan.
On level 53 of weffriddles now (:
And I'mtoo tired to figure it out.
Shall tackle itanother day (:

OBS WAS SUPER SUPER SUPER DUPER FUN.
When I grow up and have my own money and can decide what i want to do with my life and my time, I'm gonna sign up for the 14 day course, and kayak to Indonesia and see the dolphins on the way :D
I think OBS really impacted me a lot.
I used to be super duper afraid of heights, like, i don't even climb the
stupid rock wall. But, to my unimaginable surprise, I managed to climb the shaky thingy was was probably worse than climbing a rock wall. And I made it ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP :D and figured, it wasn't all that bad. Fom now on (as far as my Dad allows me), I shall go on the roller coasters at every theme park I go to (when I find the courage to, and someone to scream with me).
And, you could really see the difference in me when you compare the first-day-there-me and the last-day-there-me. On the first day, at the hall-like structure, there were like HUGE red and black ants crawling around the floor, and I was really scared they'd climb up my pants (and fyi, I was wearing track pants). But, on the last day, you could really just see me sitting on the road where a million and one ants (both big and small) were crawling, and i was in SHORTS.
Haha.
Kayaking the fun-nest ever. And we (Diane, Sonal, and I) were good! :D And, I managed to hold my pee for four half hours (actually, I hardly drank any water) cause I refused to jump into the sea to pee. I was quite sure I wouldn't be able to pull myself back up again. Haha.
Rowing the boat was the funniest ever.
At first, we were doing fine, just that we were going in the wrong direction, which wasn't too fine. Then, when we finally got it, the !@*&!
Sandpiper just had to come and tow us (cause we were running short of time). When they let us go (to go tow another boat), we were frantically trying to row away, but we barely moved an inch when the !@*&!
Sandpiper came back again. Well, I must say, I had fun controlling the rudder with Cherie :D
Trekking was the most tiring ever.I was carrying the food bag, and now my back's aching like mad. I had no idea why my group had to bring a thousand and one cans of food along, when we barely even touched half of them. And the pot was kind of useless as well. But, the quarry was REALLY REALLY PRETTY :D like, really (:
Expedition night was the worst ever.It was so hot and stuffy, my skin was practically sticking the tent (ewww...) So I got up, along with Cherie, Ong Lai, and Tong, then we found Su Ping, Stella, Jovina, and Ho, who were on night duty. And there was absolutely no wind at all though we were beside the sea. No land breeze no sea breeze. HORRID. Until, Jovina, Ho, and I started skipping stones into the sea. My most number of skips were two :D (well, that's not bad for a first timer). Then I went to sleep for a bit, and woke up like a zombie at four (all in all, I had about 2 hours of sleep, and the next day was kayaking day).
Oh, oh, that was the first night in my whole life where I pee-ed without a proper toilet :D
Day two was the scariest ever. That's the day I climbed the high shaky thing, and learned how to kayak. Learning how to kayak wasn't that bad, in fact, it was fun. It was the forcing-us-to-capsize(is that how you spell it?)-part that was scary. The moment I capsized, I knew something bad wo;uld happen, and indeed, water started invading my eyes, taking over my nose, and filling my ears. It was horrible. And, my pants were heavy (cause of the water) and loose, so I couldn't climb back on properly, cause they were falling >.<
My group was the coolest ever.According to dear Faisal: "You may not be the best, but you can always to your best".
Yeah, our group wasn't the best, but we did our best, and that's what matters (:
"
A warrior of light shares his world with the people he loves" (:
What I experienced and felt during OBS could never be possibly put into words which could describe it so perfectly. But as long as I remember, it's alright (:
Oh, one last disgusting incident:
On the last day, we were cleaning up the store, when someone accidentally squished a lizard (yes, ewww...). So, naturally, it detached it's tail, and it's tail started wriggling. If you looked properly, you could see that the head and its four legs were still somewhat intact, and remained in the same crawling position the lizard was in (before it was squashed), which was gross. Only the main body was
pink and squished.
So, the tail continued flicking for like, a minute or so? Then it stopped. And like, two minutes later, the gross-est thing ever happened:
The lizard tried to push itself up.
And it wasn't a hallucination. Diane saw it too :D
Oh, and the guy in charge of camp 2 looked a lot like Jabez.
And, there's this female trainer who looked a lot like Miss Su
(just friendlier and nicer looking)I really don't mind staying in OBS for a few more days (and skip one week of remedial :D) I'd even sacrifice my blood for the mosquitoes.
OBS aside...
REVELATIONS IV - THAT WE MAY SEE7 June, Saturday7pm (I think)Sam Chye, I'm gonna drag you along...
OBS(:
Okay, enough.
HAPPY (about 3 hours early) BIRTHDAY MAK (:
And now, I think I really should get started on my math homework due tomorrow....

now i'm back, breezed through batch one, had some difficulties with batch two, and now stuck at level 49
which is seriously driving me crazy.
i've tried every possible thing that i could think of
i've even read through the forums like possibly a thousand times
i've even
joined the forum just for this level.
sheesh. how much longer will it take.
yay. got a new book:
Ray Bradbury Storieswanted to get
The October Country, but i found it after my mum paid for the other Ray Bradbury one, and she won't let me get two ):

THE MYANMAR PROJECT:
we raised a whooping sum of (slightly over) 3000 :D how cool is that.
all to be donated to the red cross (: good job 3O (:
LTC:
i'm an SL! :D and i get to do the Regional Youth Conference project with merrilyn, laura, sau, and a few other people who i can't remember :D
SABBATICALS:
my options:
zoo/night safari - i get to be the keeper of a specific animal, i get to go to the zoo super early before anyone else does, and i get the chance to work night shift at the night safari too :D coolios
SATS - that's the airport. i get to go to 'restricted areas' (to the public) and do all sorts of other cool stuff at the airport, like providing food for the air crew at the staff lounge (i think that's cool okay), etc.
eurokars - distributor of porsches, lamborghinis, rolls royces, aston martins (i think) in singapore (: but other than that, the job's quite boring
shook, lin & bok - law firm. get to go to the lawyer's office, and even to court, if there's a case going on during your term there. other than that, mostly boring paper work.
NUH - you get to tail the doctor around and help do some simple stuff (which doesn't put the patients' life at risk). which is quite cool, especially if the doctor you're tailing is an A&E doctor :D
but i think i'll still take the zoo (:

Finally, exams are over. I feel like I just took the last exam of my life.
But then the horror of the results comes.
I'd be really happy if I passed bio.
And my prediction came true, I was really stoning for the last half an hour of the bio exam
"Girls, stop writing."
Well, I kinda stopped writing long agoFriday was fun (:
Xiao Wei can shoot water out of her nose! :D hahaha.
The concert was quite okay. Miss Kon was in it :D
But as far as I know, she didn't really look up at all, maybe caused she was too embarrassed to look at the mg girls. And we were seriously embarrassing.
When some guy at the beginning of the concert was introducing the saxaphonist and choir and the other people, he also thanked mg for being the guest
somethingsomething (can't remember what word he used).
and.
some mg girls started cheering.
I seriously don't think they were supposed to that.
Maybe that's why Miss Kon was so embarrassed.
ROCs meeting this friday (: (:
